Our client - a leading destination management company is looking for Touring Team LeaderJob Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Expansion
- Oversee the scheduling and management of the Touring Executive.
- Ensure the Touring Team, guides, and other relevant field staff understand and follow all trip styles and branding requirements for all accounts.
- Complete guide blocking for GIT series based on reservations' allotment if necessary.
- Manage service quality during daily operations and distribute workloads efficiently.
- Organize trip checks and inspections to improve quality.
- Recruit and evaluate internal and external candidates and team members.
- Address major operational issues and provide 24/7 support for on-the-ground complaints.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in tourism operations or team leadership within the tourism and hospitality industry.
- A degree in tourism and hospitality is beneficial.
- Proficiency in the national local language and intermediate to advanced English (both written and spoken).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Empathetic and motivational leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with a diverse audience (customers, suppliers, team members, leaders).
- High attention to detail and effective time/priority management skills.
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to high service standards.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including late nights, weekends, and early mornings.
- Adaptable to uncertainties and changes, remaining calm under pressure.
- Alignment with the company's purpose and values.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
