COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client - a Japanese manufacturing firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced QA Assistant Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement procedures for the quality management system in compliance with local regulations and quality policies.
Analyze quality trends related to materials, packaging, and products.
Evaluate quality risks in relevant processes and recommend improvement plans.
Oversee the quality of materials and packaging to ensure they meet specifications and technical requirements; resolve related issues and audit suppliers.
Monitor nonconforming products and address quality issues through investigations and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA); prepare deviation reports.
Supervise laboratory equipment and ensure lab safety.
Conduct pest control activities.
Prepare customer complaint reports and annual reports for authorities.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements from regulatory authorities, including GMP and Halal certifications.
Train, coach, and manage staff activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
University or higher degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Time management and planning skills.
Proficiency in English, including the ability to read and comprehend English technical documents.
Significant and professional experience in microbiology and chemical analysis, cosmetic inspection.
Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to cosmetic production and cGMP.
Over 5 years of experience working in QA/QC and at least 2 years of experience in group management.
