Mechanical Design Engineer

JAC’s client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh City

Job Responsibilities

• Develop concept drawings and explore cost reduction strategies

• Proceed with the permit application stage, set up the drawing design schedule and control the progress and quality of the drawings.

• Work with third parties such as contractors and consultants to complete the permit application process 

• Manage contractors on schedule and techniques documents (knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, combine, Revit, Naviswork, ACC...)

• Check and approve shop drawings, materials....

• Participate in weekly coordination meetings of departments at the construction site and participate in inspection and acceptance of the program.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• At least 8 years of experience in MEP design.

• Priority candidate with experience for factory, storage, mall, high building.

• Management skills, knowledge and understanding of Vietnamese standards, NFPA, IEC.

• Proficient in English skills

• Priority will be given to candidates who possess licenses in Design MEP, Firefighting, Revit, Navisworks
