JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and oversee the company’s compliance programs.
Ensure adherence to relevant agreements, certificates, and permits (e.g., Investment Agreement, IRC, ERC).
Lead the contracting process, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents.
Research legal issues related to company operations and business development (e.g., greenfield projects, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions).
Provide legal guidance to anticipate and prevent potential legal issues.
Ensure business plans, policies, and procedures comply with legal standards through regular reviews.
Manage the IRC application process for new phases and ERC amendments, and obtain any necessary certificates or permits.
Participate in legal actions, interact with regulatory agencies, and manage external counsel when needed.
Build relationships with governmental bodies to stay updated on legal developments and advocate for the company’s interests.
Oversee the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including copyrights and patents.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years’ experience in legal practice at recognized law firms or as Corporate Lawyer
Solid understanding of the laws of Vietnam relating to corporate, investment, commercial, labor, construction, real estate, environment, M&A, and dispute settlement.
Advanced in English, both written and spoken
