JAC’s client is a leading destination management company looking for a Indochina Travel Product Leader.

 

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Sitting at an integral cross-section, your role will be to fully realise the company’s strategic vision by ensuring that the company’s authentic, local, and experiential product range stands out from the competition.

  • Oversee product selection for high value agent tenders and key agent renewals.

  • Ensure the development of best practice processes for the designing of product globally.

  • Ensure research and benchmarking takes place for all newly designed product.

  • Monitor the customer segmentation and continually manage the product portfolio, ensuring there is a suitable range of product to match the different requirements of the company’s clients.

  • Quickly address gaps in the product range, whether by destination or travel theme.

  • Beyond the immediate request, show your interest in agents and partners and their clients to build "sticky" relationships.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, coupled with a minimum of five years of experience in product development and management within the travel industry.

  • In-depth understanding of the travel industry, with specific expertise in Indochina destinations.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Other languages are seen as an advantage.

  • Proven experience through extensive travel to or residence in our destinations is highly advantageous/pre-requisite.

  • Minimum of 12 months of team leadership experience.

  • Advanced problem-solving abilities

  • Customer-focused approach with a dedication to exceptional service delivery

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail and effective time/priority management

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, adaptable across cultures

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams

  • Strong decision-making and leadership qualities

  • Willingness to travel for business as needed

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
