As an Industrial Automation and Test Solutions Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality within our organization. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Implement Industrial Automation Systems:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs across various processes (manufacturing, assembly, quality control, etc.).
Develop and implement industrial automation solutions that streamline production, reduce manual labor, and enhance overall efficiency.
Leverage your expertise in PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and robotics to create robust automation frameworks.
Test and Measurement Solutions:
Design and deploy measurement systems for quality assurance, process optimization, and product validation.
Utilize precision instruments (such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and environmental sensors) to collect accurate data.
Develop test plans, execute tests, and analyze results to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Collaborate closely with R&D teams to validate new product designs and troubleshoot any anomalies.
Feasibility Studies and Cost-Benefit Analysis:
Conduct feasibility studies for proposed automation projects, considering technical feasibility, ROI, and impact on production.
Perform cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the economic viability of automation initiatives.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, balancing technological advancements with practical considerations.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to both automation and measurement.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, reliability enhancement, and waste reduction.
Drive continuous improvement by proposing innovative solutions and championing their implementation.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of automation and measurement systems.
Communicate effectively across teams, translating technical concepts into actionable plans.
Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and cross-functional discussions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Proven experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.
Familiarity with measurement techniques, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
