Responsible for quality inspection tasks for food products (shrimp, fish, etc.) at food processing factories.
Job Responsibilities
- Read material composition tables, manufacturing processes, instructions, etc., to understand expectations and official standards for product quality
- Inspect raw materials received from suppliers, evaluate quality, and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Select product samples from the output and inspect them using appropriate methods (measure dimensions, weight, color, compare against product specifications, etc.)
- Perform other complex testing and inspection procedures (if necessary)
- Maintain inspection records, information, and various data such as the number of defective products each day
- Monitor procedures throughout the entire production process to ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Prepare and submit reports to the Quality Manager or higher management levels
- Carry out periodic reports as required
Job Requirements
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2~ level)
- No prior experience in the food industry is required as training will be provided by the factory
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Must be willing to travel frequently (within Vietnam and to Japan)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
