[Packaging] R&D Team Lead - Plastic

• Our client is a reputable player in the Packaging industry

• This position is responsible for improving products, processes, and technologies to meet customer needs and increase the company's competitiveness.
• Understand the layout of the R&D Department. Coordinate with related Departments (Sales, Production, Purchasing/Logistics, QA/QC,…) to follow the New Product Development process to complete any new development project
• Work on the machine (understand the functions of the main parts on the machine).

• Degree: University degree in Polymer, Inorganic Chemistry, and Printing Technology.
• Knowledge/experience: Understanding of plastic materials (PE, PP, PET, etc.), their properties, and applications in packaging.
• Understanding of quality standards and regulations related to plastic packaging production (ISO, HACCP, or environmental regulations).Leadership skills: Ability to manage a teamForeign language proficiency: Communicate in Japanese or English (priority given to those who know Japanese)
