Senior Accountant

COMPANY OVERVIEW 

JAC's client is looking for an experienced senior accountant (tax accountant cum payable accountant) to join their dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify documents, approvals, and invoices per policies and tax regulations before posting invoices into the accounting system.
• Discuss and follow up on payment issues with departments and the line manager to avoid delays, ensuring weekly processing of vendor and employee payments.
• Record qualified payment requests with correct ledger accounts, safeguard original documents, and save monthly reports and reconciliation evidence.
• Review the monthly aging report for timely invoice processing and assist with quarter-end payable account reconciliation
• Responsible for all tax reporting, including Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax, VAT, Foreign Contractor Tax, Transfer Pricing, and compliance.
• Review revenue and expenses according to the approved budget and company regulations, ensuring compliance with company and state requirements
• Prepare and submit periodic tax reports and declarations, and provide documents for audits, tax inspections, and state agency requirements
• Address tax-related issues across departments and optimize tax incentives.
• Perform other tasks as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• University degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of taxation.
• Excellent time management, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
• Trustworthy, honest, meticulous, ethical, and a quick learner.
• Effective team player and capable of working independently.
• Eager to learn and improve work methods.
• Proficient in written and spoken English
