A Hongkong Fund is looking for a Research Associate to join and support in investigating potential investment opportunities worldwide.
Location: HCMC
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing desktop research on companies & industries by utilizing publicly available and internal resources.
Translating documents and assisting investment professionals in communicating with local management teams & industry experts.
Gathering insights on investment opportunities and portfolio companies. Taking detailed and meticulous notes will be a critical part of the role.
Conducting primary reference call interviews with industry experts, former company executives, competitors, and supply chain participants.
Communicating with third-party vendors to select industry experts and setup reference calls/meetings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Advanced English and Japanese => candidate should submit a short video speaking both English and Japanese
Highly organized, diligent, and personable. Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office & Excel.
A deep interest in the stock market and a strong desire to learn about investing.
