What you’ll be doing
The Japanese Speaking Business Analyst will work along with team members and customer, and report directly to the project manager. Main responsibilities will include delivering new features, following the software development process, and contributing ideas to improve the project as follows:
- Participate in development activities such as requirement, design, programming, and testing.
- Analyze and elicit requirements directly throughout Japanese documents.
- Develop and review requirements specification.
- Transfer requirements to the team.
- Verify the system before delivery.
- Work closely with the Project Manager for output verification and issue troubleshooting.
- Will be onsite in Japan for 9 months or 1 year
What you bring to the team
- B.S., M.S., or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant major.
- Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or JLPT N1 is required.
- Having at least 3 years of experience in software development a Business Analyst role
- Strong skills in issue analysis and coming up with resolutions.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn (in the business domain, software engineering, language).
- High responsibility and teamwork spirit.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with the Energy domain is a plus.
