What you’ll be doing
The Senior Bridge Software Engineer will manage projects or work closely with the Project Manager to monitor and control the project; and work closely with the team to understand the project’s insights.
This role needs to communicate with Japanese clients for requirements, and issue clarifications to make sure that there is no gap in the understanding between the customer and the project team including the following:

This role needs to communicate with Japanese clients for requirements, and issue clarifications to make sure that there is no gap in the understanding between the customer and the project team including the following:
- Analyze and transfer requirements to the project team.
- Verify and develop design documents.
- Control inbound and outbound project materials.
- Develop and perform test cases to verify the deliverables.
- Understand the clients and maintain a good business relationship with them.
- Will be onsite in Japan for 9 months or 1 year
What you bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in software development, information technology, or related fields.
- Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher is required.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a BrSE position, hands-on experience writing technical documents in Japanese, giving presentations, and working directly with Japanese customers.
- Have software development skills (design, coding, test, etc.), and good programming skills/knowledge of C/C++ languages.
- Knowledge and experience with the printing domain.
- Good at requirement analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Well-organized, creative, and capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
